  1. I certainly would tske Keisei; but he no longer is eligible, so wishing for it won't bring him back. Eli was somewhat of an enigma. I loved his shot. Yet the ball sort of got stuck with him at times. He did remind me a bit of Bryce McGowan without the upper echelon talent. He was slow on defense but rebounded reasonably well. Griffith seems as talented offensively and his rebounding seems, at least, equal to Eli. He also has decent handles. What separates him, at least a bit, is his ability on the defensive end. I do think he has more lateral quickness than Eli and displays a "want" to defend. I guess we will see how it plays out the next few years.
  2. Great burgers; but the smell and taste of Runza's make me sick...it is the cooked cabbage thing...
  3. The cost of bling! Great players come at a great monetary cost. But there can also be a cost relating to team commraderie and chemistry. Player A may have a lot of talent and wants to be the main dude and get the highest number of shots; but it could isolate that player from the remainder of the team...and what you get, is what we had, the first couple years under Fred. So it becomes a high pressure, highly important balancing act when we are building the team via the portal. We seem to be getting the right type of players as we build our roster. But if certain players want certain $$$ or guarantees, I assume they are advised to move on. So when I see a player we seemed to want, move on to greener pastures, my initial reaction is angst. It then dawns on me that perhaps the coaches and administration likely are fully vetting the potential roster invitee, and perhaps decided independently or mutually, that Player A best play elsewhere.
  4. Plus, he likely will find 10 to 20 lbs of muscle within the next 6 to 24 months.
  5. Or perhaps he becomes a spokesperson for a lasik surgeon as part of the overall package.
  6. Amazing what you can find: Age 2, born abt 1938 Birthplace Nebraska Gender Male Race White Home in 1940 5168 Orchard Dudley Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska Household Members Age Head Herman Worster 28 Wife Eileen H Worster 22 Son Roland H Worster 2
  7. I sort of look at it this way; Keisei's replacement is already on the roster. His name is BRICE WILLIAMS.
  8. Igor Kyle After those two, I am pretty flexible. I would maybe flex towards youth/projects/specialists.
  9. Igor and Kyle. Not that I'm begging. Okay, I am begging.
  10. Maybe we can find another Lincoln player that wants to come home...
  11. Former Nebraska guard Jamarques Lawrence has committed to Rhode Island, he announced on Instagram. Lawrence spent two years at NU and has two more seasons of eligibility remaining.
