leonidas
For all these years I had thought that Long Beach State played in some sort of unique arena shaped like a pyramid. Now I find out it was just some guy called Walter's name. I am devastated. Look at the shape of the ceiling, though. It looks like it could very well be a pyramid shape. 49r
That Walter guy, I hear he's quite the schemer. He's got this one scheme that's pretty well known, even. Can't remember what they call it though...

jimmykc
Thanks, I feel much better now. Although there must be some guy out there named Walter Pyramid sobbing his eyes out.

Ironic seeing the First National Bank logos on the floor in arena named Pinnacle Bank Arena. Safe to say Nebraska will be "money" from the floor for years to come.... What happened to this? Apparently the LJS took some liberties with their reporting?
uneblinstu
I'm guessing they got a lot of overwhelmingly negative feedback so they went back to the drawing board. Wise choice because that design is hideous. Also, that article doesn't specify that the court design was finalized, just that they had settled on the manufacturer.
