Whew!!!   Turnovers (Traveling) and missed lay-ups seem to be the story of this game, but despite that, Huskers Pull it Out!   71-65  and    in Spain

Freshmen stepped up big down the stretch - Watson was fearless driving the ball late.

 

Another nice comeback win that should serve the young guys well confidence wise when things get going for real

Well, that was fun even though it was like watching a game with those simulated "drunk" glasses on like they used to do for halftime entertainment. should make the flight home more fun than ending on a losing note.

But all four games were close at least until late first half & two of them were tight to the wire. Plus we overcame double-figure deficits at least twice, so they did get into some confidence-building situations, which I'm sure he liked.

I think he said they were using the extra players today, but may not have them for BYU. Rosters are a bit fluid.

It might matter on the day they play. Guys might be available Saturday night and then not on Wednesday...stuff like that. BYU should give us another barometer of the talent level we played.

Good point - I'd assume these teams are in their 'preseason' right now, so they may be trying to figure out rosters? Not sure how Spanish pro leagues' calendar runs.
