Fantastic, if not a tad dated, news:

The league's newest members – Maryland, Nebraska and Rutgers – are operating under a six-year financial integration plan and not expected to receive BTN profit shares. Nebraska is scheduled to receive its first full financial share in 2017-18 – the first year of the league's new television contract - while Maryland and Rutgers will receive full shares starting in 2020-21.

Never Hoppen!  ;)  (Going back to the Big 12, that is!)

Although I miss some of the old rivalries, I like even better the New Conference and New Rivalries (can you imagine the Huskers having as big a revival as we have in the B1G if we were still in the B-12?).

The advent of BTN means the televising of virtually every Husker sports event (even football).  More folks can enjoy Husker sports than ever before.

It is only with a hint of nostalgia, but No regret as memories of the Big 12 recede in the rear-view mirror!

:)
