I wonder if this was an unexpected incident. His father was only in his 50s. If you didn't know, he was also a former college player as well, playing 4 years at Arkansas Little Rock in the 80s

Always liked David.  Good kid.  Sorry for his dad.

David did an incredible job at the camp in Treynor yesterday. Coach Rucker said it's easy to cheer for a kid like him.

His dad had been struggling for awhile from what it sounded like. Not sure if I can say what it was....

Just met David's Dad at graduation.  He sat next to us.  Man, that is too bad.  May he rest in peace!
