OK, try computing this math problem in your head ...

Be careful, you don't want to upset Silverbacked with too much math... (In case you missed it, this happened at the Henry Doorly Zoo yesterday: http://www.omaha.com/news/metro/zoo/gorilla-cracks-glass-at-henry-doorly-zoo-video-catches-fire/article_c1f3b9be-e510-11e4-81cc-c7eed314fe32.html)

We need a big guy that can play right away next year.  I would be okay with Hammond, Morrow, Jacobson(?) <- Reminds me of Stanhardinger and the Unknown Big.  We need 3-4 players that can play down low.  That makes it harder for teams to defend.  If we only have 1-2 guys we will be pretty one dimentional

If I'm Jacob Hammond, I'm feeling pretty good right now about my playing time for next year.

12 - 3 + 3 + 1 - 2 + 1 - 1 + ? = 13

This is how I should have written the question.

Which is to say that the coaches have a lot of work to do yet this spring.

Wait...you said it was a simple math problem...now you want to change it up and bring algebra into the mix?

Forget it, Norm, I'm out!!!

(and to think I almost had the original problem worked out, too)
