Don't think shoes matter?

Interesting 30 for 30. Felt a little bit like Sonny had to write off on everything and wouldnt take blame for his part in ruining the college game or admit he was basically scum.

Not the best 30 for 30, but it did shine a light on corporate involvement with "Amateur" athletes and how main decision makers in these kids lives were basically getting paid lots of money to put kids in different sneakers.

The Lebron deal at the end was very interesting. Imagine how things could have changed for Adidas if they signed LeBron.

that lebron shoe was garbage...good thing he signed with Nike

How do you know? They weren't made.

If you completely deregulate college basketball - pay athletes, etc - I believe shoe companies will run the sport. They'll find the players, develop the players and slot the players.

Somewhat tongue in cheek...so, the shoe companies rather than the AAU coaches (cartel) will slot the players?

they show'd the concept design, that they pitched to him, and it was the same boring Adidas design, T-Mac had/has the only original shoe from the 2000's that they put out that i felt could compare/be innovative with what Nike has been putting out

lebron-james-adidas-signature-shoe.jpgthis was the initial concept they pitched to LeBron. Compared to his initial Nike Release, IMO these have no flavor, no appeal to the market that pushes shoe sales, 10-35yr old males. His first Nike Shoe..
