Non Bracketed Game- Diamondhead

Does anybody know what this means:  Non-Bracketed Game(s): DePaul at George Washington (Dec. 11)  

 

It's on the bottom of the bracket link for the Diamondhead Classic on the tournament website:

I believe the rule that if you are in one of these exempt bracketed tournaments, you can schedule a 4th game (outside the brackets) with another team in the tournament that you are not originally scheduled to play.

So, under the always logical rules of the NCAA, it is technically a tournament game that doesn't count against your game maximum...WTF?

As always...logic prevails.
