“Northern State holds a special place in my heart,” Miles said. “Bob Olson gave me a chance to start coaching there and gave me that first opportunity, so I’m forever grateful to Northern. I learned a lot. Everything that we do today — the essence and the foundation comes from Northern State athletics — especially Bob and Dr. Kretchman.”
