The Huskers had a mixed slate of games last week with both Maryland and Rutgers at home. As expected, Nebraska fell to Maryland, but beat Rutgers at home. At this point, it would likely take perfection to make the NCAA Tournament down the stretch and some big wins to even guarantee an NIT bid.

With Wisconsin on the road and Penn State at home this week, perhaps Nebraska can build some major momentum. If not, it could be a rough last few weeks of the season for the Huskers.

The Huskers had a relatively successful week. Nebraska did start by losing on the road to Wisconsin, but given the way the Badgers have been playing and the fact that the Huskers followed it up with a dominating win over Penn State, it's hard to spin the week too negatively. At this point, Nebraska does still have some shot at the NIT, but it will certainly take a good finish to this season. This week, Nebraska gets Indiana on the road and Ohio State at home.

People should really start paying attention to how good White has been this season. The Big Ten has been exciting this year and some of the better teams in the Big Ten get a lot of the attention because they have elite players, but just because Nebraska is not very good does not mean the team does not have elite talent. White is an elite wing player that can shoot the basketball extremely well from deep and he can score in a variety of ways.

The Huskers had two challenging games against Indiana on the road and Ohio State at home this week and dropped both games. Nebraska's hopes were going to lie in the Big Ten Tournament regardless of what happened this week, but two wins would have really helped the team's NIT case. Now, with the two losses, Nebraska sits at just 14-14 overall with a road game against Penn State this week. If Nebraska wants to avoid playing on the first day of the Big Ten Tournament, taking care of business against the Nittany Lions will be huge.
